I am Dr. Uche C. Odionyenma, a Nigerian Medical Laboratory Scientist with bias in Microbiology, Haematology and Blood Transfusion Science. My research interests also include phytoconstituents, antioxidants, antinutrients and antimicrobial properties of herbs. I have attended numerous short courses, conferences, workshops both in Nigeria and Overseas and have built tremendous capacity in Medical Laboratory Science having trained both in-service and pre-service Medical Laboratory personnel. I was part of the team that drew the harmonized undergraduate, postgraduate and post basic specialist training curricula for Medical Laboratory Professionals in ECOWAS Region.
I am a FELLOW of both the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria and Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria, a certified Medical Laboratory Assessor / Auditor, and a former Member of the Governing Board of the FMC Owo. I belong to several Professional Associations and have many public lectures, publications, academic papers, and awards to my credit.
